Cats & Kittens Available for Adoption
Whiskers provides an online cat adoption listing service free of charge.
Adoption Fees go to the family of each cat, not to Whiskers.
If you're wondering "Are the adoptees near me?", please notice that the available kittens and cats have their locations listed with their information.
This allows them to remain in their homes until a loving family has been found.
We are happy to answer questions you may have, but the cats are not usually staying at Whiskers Cat Hotel.

Soren Has Been Adopted!
Soren
Ultimate Cuddle Companion
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Neutered Male
Age: 3 years
Coat Length: Short
Color: Black
House Trained: Yes
Health: Vaccinated, Neutered & Vet Checked
Diet: Canned and Dry Cat Food
Location: Georgetown, Texas 78626
Personality
This sweet boy is super snuggly and happiest when he’s soaking up as much love and attention as you’re willing to give.
If you’re looking for a cat who wants to be right by your side, Soren is your guy.
When he’s not curled up next to you, he transforms into a spirited little hunter. He loves anything he can chase: prey toys, wand toys, crinkly toys, lasers you name it. Watching him leap, pounce, and zoom around is guaranteed to make you smile.
After all that excitement you can find him perched proudly at the top of his cat tree, surveying his kingdom like the handsome prince he is. If you’re searching for a loving, playful companion who brings endless joy and affection, Soren is sure steal your heart.
Why Is He Being Rehomed?
Soren is a foster kitty that was originally being fostered through WILCO during the July 4th Flooding event. WILCO was at capacity, so we took him home, brought him back to good health, and had him neutered and vaccinated. We learned he is FIV positive, but he does not require any medication or special care. Just good food, love and attention.

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Male - Neutered
Age: 4 Years
Coat Length: Short
Color: Black
House Trained: Yes
Health: Vet Checked, Vaccinated, FIV and FeLV Negative, on Flea Preventative
Diet: Fancy Feast Canned Food and Dry Food
Location: Georgetown
Lucky is friendly and affectionate, and SO HANDSOME!
The three best words to describe him are quiet, calm, and good-natured.
He's a laid back guy who loves to lounge in his bed and be brushed, cuddled, and petted.
He was obviously someone's house cat in the past, and he seems thrilled to be back indoors. He uses his litter box perfectly, isn't destructive, and is a quiet guy.
He is so well behaved at the vet clinic! They love him there!
Lucky was dumped on our property about two years ago, friendly and neutered.
He became one of our barn cats until he was recently injured in a fight.
Should primarily be an indoor cat - but out may be outside with supervision.
Currently he is been living in my hall bathroom due to our dogs and cats aggression toward him.
Lucky would be ideal for a single person who wants one lovable cat in their home. Lucky is such a sweet boy. He deserves a house or apartment to limp around in rather than being isolated in my hall bathroom.

Meep Has Been Adopted!
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Male - Neutered
Age: 8 years
Coat Length: Short
Color: Grey and Brown Tabby
House Trained: Yes
Health: Vaccinated and Vet Checked.
No Health Issues.
Diet: Nulo Wet Food and Fancy Feast Dry
Location: Currently at Whiskers
Meep thrives in a quiet, child-free, pet-free home where he can soak up all the love and attention from his human family. His current family has tried everything to help him get along with the other pets, but he’s just too stressed in a multi-pet environment. He deserves a calm, peaceful space where he can feel safe and adored.
Meep and the family's older cat had a fallout several years ago, and his family has tried everything to reintegrate them, but it has not been successful. The older cat has recently had a decline in health and has been diagnosed with diabetes.
Meep's family loves him very much and finally decided being an only pet is best for him.
Meep is a very sweet boy who loves cuddles on his terms but also loves his independence. However, like all great relationships, he also knows when he’s had enough and will let you know if he’s ready for some space—he sometimes needs his alone time!
He has the cutest little "meep" meow, hence his name! It will warm your heart.
He LOVES to be brushed! He likes playing with toys that go under things likes rugs or blankets. Before bedtime he will contentedly knead his paws, just like in the video above. He loves to sleep with his person once he's comfortable.
Meep enjoys laying in your lap while you work or game, and he loves watching the birds outside. He adores a sunny window, and he will lay there all stretched out and take the best kind of nap!
He is really a nice boy! He appreciates daily playtime - it's another favorite!
He will have conversations with you!
He can be finnicky about his food sometimes and is not treat motivated (but he does like Delectable kitty yogurts!). He doesn't like catnip much, but he LOVES silvervine sticks, especially when you toss them around for him.
He is a little bit of an anxious boy and needs someone who will comfort him when he gets nervous. He is currently taking 1/3 capsule of Fluoxetine in his breakfast. He can be startled easily and this medication helps calm him. His veterinarian said that once he's in a single pet family, he can be weaned off of this medication.
If you're looking for a sweet and independent lap companion to call your own, Meep could be the perfect fit for you! He’s ready to share his love with the right person—could it be you?

Josie Has Been Adopted!
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Female - Spayed
Age: 7 months
Coat Length: Short
Color: Tortoiseshell with a few orange tabby stripes
House Trained: Yes
Health: Vaccinated and Vet Checked
Diet: Fancy Feast Canned Food
Location: Central Austin
I brought home Josie five months ago when she was just a tiny baby.
She is truly such a bundle of joy, but she’s caused my other cat, Julep, a good deal of stress.
Though Julep has learned to tolerate her and sometimes even enjoys her company, overall the introduction of Josie has taken a large and detrimental toll on her.
Despite extensive measures taken to manage Julep’s anxiety, this weekend she was diagnosed with a stress related urinary tract disease.
Julep has also lost weight since the introduction which she can't seem to gain back, and her personality has changed; almost like she's become a shell of herself.
It is with a very heavy heart that I must rehome Josie to prioritize Julep’s emotional and physical health.
There aren’t enough positive words I can say about Josie.
She’s the most affectionate cat I’ve ever met, she’s so spunky and loves to play.
She loves other cats and has never met a stranger.
In the mornings when I'm getting ready, she jumps on the counter, puts her paws on my chest, and presses her little nose to mine. She is such a sweetheart.
She's still very energetic since she's only 7 months old and loves all sorts of toys – including little balls, wand toys, springs, and more.
She also loves bird watching and cat TV.

Ten Has Been Adopted!
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Sex: Female - Spay is Scheduled.
Age: 5 years
Coat Length: Medium
Color: Grey
House Trained: Yes
Health: Vaccinated and Vet Checked
Location: Georgetown
Ten is a tiny five-pound beauty with big green eyes whose fluffiness makes her look like a small grey cloud. She responds to "Kiki" and "Ten-Ten".
Ten was rescued by my grandmother as a kitten and has been kept indoors-only since then. She has lived a quiet, happy life with my grandmother and her two little dogs. Ten loved her little dog companions, and often groomed their faces and ears.
Ten is also very good with children and will love on them and snuggle up with them for naps. She especially likes to curl up beside them in their beds.
But Ten's biggest love was my grandmother. Ten followed her around, laid in her lap frequently, and was a steadfast birdwatching companion! She sat with her while watching TV and loved to cuddle. She really enjoyed playtime, too, chasing kitty wands and batting toy balls.
However, due to my grandmother's recent severe medical issues, including being wheelchair bound, she can no longer care for Ten nor give her the love and attention she deserves. It was a very hard decision to make, and she misses her dearly.
I stepped up to temporarily take her in until she can find a loving forever home. I wish I could take her myself, but I'm not able to do so, already sharing my room with two cats.
Ten was shy at first, but after about a week, she became so sweet, friendly, and playful.
She had a recent vet check and vaccines on December 23, 2024, at Castlerock Veterinary Hospital.

Hi, I'm Simba. I am a 5 month old baby that loves to be cuddled. I would prefer a home with other cats so I can have a playmate. I am ready for my forever home!
Tux Has Been Adopted!
Breed - Domestic Shorthair
Sex - Male
Age - 5 years
Coat Length: Short
House Trained: Yes
Health: Neutered, Vaccinated, & Vet Checked
Location: Belton
My name is Tux.
I'm real easy-going, and you'll often find me minding my own business.
However, I also enjoy attention and lots of love.
Did someone say they need help making the bed? I'll be the first one there to get the sheets and blankets situated just right.
I love being brushed - but don't over do it. A guy only needs so much primping.
A few months ago I had bladder stone surgery. It was because I was a dry food addict. Turns out dry food is not healthy for cats.
Now that I'm on an all wet food diet - no dry food or treats at all - I'm fit as a fiddle.
All the care I require is wet food only - and I'm a healthy guy!

Hi, I'm Sophie.
I LOVE people - me, you, a stranger.
I think everyone is my best friend.
I'll follow you everywhere - even to the bathroom. 😸
I'll keep you company while you shower and get ready in the morning.
I'm friendly with other cats, too, and happily give sniffs and grooming.
When I was little, I had a series of respiratory infections, and occasionally show symptoms of a cold if I'm put in a stressful situation.
I eat canned food twice a day, and enjoy being brushed and played with.

Her Family Decided to Keep Her!
Breed - Bengal Cat
Sex - Female
Age - 5 Years
Coat Length: Short
House Trained: YES! No issues at all.
Health: Spayed, Vaccinated, & Microchipped
Gets Along with Friendly Dogs: Unlikely
Gets Along with Friendly Cats: No
Very sweet disposition. Good with kids.
Medium vocal (when she wants food mostly).
She’s on gabapentin for anxiety.
Not sure how she’d do in a multi-pet home, but probably not great.
She’s never been around other animals as she’s always been the queen of our house.
I have taken her on walks in the neighborhood on a leash and she is fearful of dogs.
She really is a sweet girl and so beautiful. Not mischievous.
She’s good with kids.
Can do tricks like stand up, shake and sit (for a treat). She loves to curl up in your lap for a nap.
She has been a source of financial burden for us (she had some pretty insane accidents as a kitten five years ago / huge medical bills).
She recently jumped down from a window sill and accidentally turned our tub on while we were out. It was a very unfortunate accident as she has never turned on faucets before and has no interest in playing in water. Nonetheless - Flooded the home. We can’t leave without worry now.
It breaks my heart to lose her as I’m quite attached, but it really is the best thing for her at this point.
I want to do the right thing and rehome her with a good family because this cat is just not a fit for us anymore.

Kaydence is a very sweet, affectionate, and loving girl with people.

She will flop over in front of you and ask for stomach rubs - which she loves.
She's healthy, friendly, and a wonderful companion.
She just needs to be in a home as the only cat.

Gorgeous senior kitty looking for her forever home. 😺
She needs a lap to lay on and a quiet home to soak up lots of love! 😻
Sweet Pea is as sweet as her name!
From her owner:
She is indoor only and loves to cuddle.
You can find her sitting in my lap or next to me whenever I'm on the couch, or if I'm working from home.
Sweet Pea does have medical issues including a heart murmur and kidney disease.
Both are managed by a prescription wet food diet.
She is an anxious girl and would do best in a home where she’s the only pet.
I unfortunately have to find a new home for Sweet Pea as I am moving into a home with a dog that does not do well with cats.
Sweet Pea is a wonderful companion and would add so much love and joy to any home.
